This Privacy Policy describes how Snappikart Techlabs Private Limited ("Scanimart", "We", "Us", or "Our") collects, uses, processes, stores, and protects personal data and business information provided by Store Partners, Retailers, and Customers in full compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) of India and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

Under the DPDP Act 2023, Snappikart Techlabs Private Limited operates as the Data Fiduciary determining the purpose and means of personal data processing for the Scanimart Ecosystem.

2. Personal & Store Data Collected
We collect only necessary personal and business data required for store partner onboarding, GST verification, order processing, and payout settlements:
- Identity & Contact Details: Retailer Name, Email Address, Primary Contact Phone Number, and Store Owner Phone Number (verified via 6-digit OTP).
- Business & Tax Information: Store Name, Brand Name, GSTIN (auto-verified via official GST Portal API), Registered Business Address, and PAN details.
- Bank Account Details: Bank Name, Account Holder Name, Account Number, IFSC Code, Branch Name, and Account Type (for payout settlements).
- Location & Geofencing Data: Exact Store GPS Coordinates (Latitude, Longitude), Shop Building Number, Floor, Area, City, and Geo-fence radius.
- Store Operations & POS Data: POS/Billing Software Name (Marg, GoFrugal, Vyapar, Tally, etc.), Operating Hours, Store Images, and Catalog Inventory details.
- Security & Device Logs: IP Address (`X-Forwarded-For`, `REMOTE_ADDR`), Device identifiers, and Session timestamps.
3. DPDP Act 2023 Compliance & Consent Framework
In compliance with Section 6 of the DPDP Act 2023, personal data processing is conducted solely on the basis of explicit, informed, and unambiguous consent provided during store registration or through specific legitimate uses authorized by law.
Consent Notice & Withdrawal Right
You have the right to withdraw your consent for non-essential processing at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer at dpo@scanimart.com. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.
4. Data Principal Rights (Under DPDP Act 2023)
As a Data Principal under Indian Law, you possess the following statutory rights:
Right to Access (Sec 11)
Request a summary of your personal data being processed and third parties with whom it has been shared.
Right to Correction & Erasure (Sec 12)
Request correction of inaccurate data, updates, or complete erasure of personal data no longer necessary.

Right to Nominate (Sec 14)

5. Data Security & Retention Standards
We employ industry-standard technical and organizational security measures, including SSL/TLS 256-bit encryption for data in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, secure cloud servers, and strict access controls. Personal data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill business purposes or statutory tax compliance under Indian Law.
